Contribution / Flexdesk : Date/time selection field enhancements
Previously, the time control was split into separate hour and minute fields, leading to inconsistency between the controls used in Flexdesk and the wheel interface.
we've implemented the following changes:
- Implemented a unified datetime control across both interfaces.
- Condensed the control into a single field for both hour and minutes.
- Time intervals are now set to every 30 minutes for improved usability.
- Accommodated site collection locale settings, supporting both 24-hour and 12-hour time formats.
- Provided users with the option to manually adjust the time according to their preferences.

We've implemented a more intuitive way to navigate through the glossary:

Letter Anchors:
- The letters on the left now serve as anchors, facilitating quick navigation in the list of definitions.
- A simple click on a letter smoothly scrolls down to words starting with that letter.

- The view is optimized for clarity - only letters with associated content are displayed.
- For words starting with numbers, the corresponding number is displayed, ensuring a comprehensive overview.
This enhancement is geared towards providing you with a more organized and efficient glossary exploration.
Office groups / Teams / Viva Engage : Be able to unsubscribe to a Viva Engage community

Thanks to your feedbacks, we made a little quality of life change for the Office groups / Teams / Viva Engage webpart.
Joining a community now prompts a colored star icon, while quitting is made simple with an unclickable star. After quitting, the icon reverts to its initial state, providing a seamless and intuitive user journey.

Widget view catalog: New display views selector in webparts editing form

To make further progress towards our goals of improving the overall user experience in front-end interfaces for webpart selection and customization, we have introduced a new widget catalog for each widget view.
Now, contributors can easily navigate and select their widget view by categorizing them into options such as Vertical Tiles, Horizontal Tiles, Details (full page), Sliders, Lists, and more.
Additionally, each categorization is associated with subcategories tailored to the kind of content (CT) it represents and to the feature available, ensuring intuitive organization and navigation.
Here's a quick overview of the brand new navigation:
- Categorization: Easily classify widget views by their display type, making navigation more intuitive.
- Subcategories: Fine-tune organization by associating views with subcategories tailored to their content type
- Feature Filtering: Effortlessly filter views based on available features, enabling users to find precisely what they need.

A few releases ago, we introduced an enhancement enabling contributors to manage variations when editing content in the SharePoint translation context.
We've made the same update to Powell Variation.
Now, when editing content, after confirming the content in the initial phase, the second part is presented, showing all the language variation options for duplication and translation.

The contribution board is a very useful tool for administrators and contributors to organize their daily contributions, but creating one can be complex and time-consuming.
We've made creating a contribution board an easier experience, with new forms and straightforward tests that will make creating a contribution board much easier.
What's New:
- inside "Manage Available Tools", Introduction of a one-click "Create a Contribution Board" button to instantly set up a brand-new creation form, clone or delete existing ones.
- Have a new effortless Contribution board configuration thanks to intuitive content filters for precision, and customize sorting and structure fields effortlessly.
You can even Test your board on-the-fly with the "Test the Board" button.

Navigation : New query selector for Search nodes in the navigation Builder

With the introduction of the new contribution board builder, we've also enhanced the Query selector within the Navigation Builder.
Now, when creating search-related nodes, you'll find the same query selector used in the contribution board builder.
This feature assists you in effortlessly crafting Search links and Search results nodes within your navigation.
Site Administration : Manage available subscriptions

Recently, we proposed a new notification scenario based on users subscription
To enhance this scenario, administrators can now effortlessly manage these subscriptions directly in the portal interface.
In the "Manage available tools" panel, when the user selects "Subscriptions", a new button appears to manage the list of subscriptions.
This new administration panel allows you to do 2 major things :
Create new subscription groups :
- You can create new subscription groups with a click, tailored to your organization's needs
- Define what default subscriptions value will be associated with your new group and how values will be displayed
Manage available subscription groups :
- You can also delete or modify subscriptions with ease, select another subscription value, default subscription ...
Personal Favorites : New available views

Powell Buddy: Better management of content generation on text fields with existing values

We've improved the Powell Buddy and Text webparts contribution forms with these updates:
- Content generation in text fields with existing content is now highlighted for easier identification.
- The message under the Buddy logo has been refined to provide clearer guidance: "How would you like to leverage your content?"
- The “Additional information” block is now hidden by default, simplifying the interface for smooth navigation.
These enhancements reflect our commitment to improving the user experience and making content creation more intuitive with Powell Buddy.
Powell Apps: New icon catalog
Inside Powell Apps, we've augmented our icon catalog with brand-new additions.
Our goal is to provide icons directly associated with various social networks, enhancing your ability to personalize and customize your navigation nodes effectively.
Virtual Building: See which objects are interactive inside an area
Now, when hovering over an interactive element inside an area, you will see its title and description.
To enhance the visual appeal, a subtle shadow has been applied to areas and interactive elements, without affecting decorative objects
These updates aim to deliver a more informative and immersive user experience.
Virtual Building: Be able to define with which area the object is linked
When modifying an element, you now have the option to choose the specific area to which this item will be linked.
While an area will be suggested during creation, you have the flexibility to edit it both initially and during subsequent edits to the element.

(Reminder) New Azure AD Powell Graph API
We inform you of an important update regarding our Azure AD application "Powell-GraphAPI"
We have redesigned our architecture and this change requires action to re-consent a new Azure AD application "Powerll Intranet".
To ensure a smooth transition and minimize disruptions, we have planned the following steps:
- Today: We are sending you this notification to inform you of the situation and let you understand the next steps.
- Starting on December 8th, 2023, you can select the new Azure AD Powell Intranet Graph API application from Powell Manager and consent to it with your tenant Administrator account.
- Starting January 5, 2024, An alert message will be displayed on your intranet dashboard, visible only to administrators. This message will guide you through an automated consent procedure to facilitate the consent of the new Azure AD App "Powell Intranet."
- From June 2024: The Azure AD application "Powell-GraphApi" will be permanently removed. We highly recommend following the consent procedure to ensure uninterrupted service continuity.
This transition is essential to maintain the quality of our services following these architectural changes. We want to assure you that all measures have been taken to minimize the impact on your daily operations.
