Powell Buddy features on Powell Intranet - Boost license

Step 1: Accessing settings

1. Navigate to the Powell Intranet settings by clicking on the settings gear icon.

2. Open the feature dashbpoard page 

3. Click on "Manage" on the Powell Buddy card.

Step 2: Configuring the content creation assistant

1. Enable the content creation feature.
2. Decide whether to restrict this feature to a certain audience. By default, the service is accessible to all contributors.

3. Once the content creation feature is activated, this functionality will be available in content creation.

 

Step 3: Configuring image generation

1. Activate the image generation feature.

2. Decide whether to restrict this feature to a certain audience. By default, the service is accessible to all contributors.

3. Following the activation of the image generation feature and the selection of the associated service, this functionality will be available in content creation.

Step 4: Configuring Taxonomy suggestion

1. Activate the taxonomy suggestion feature.

2. Enter your Entra Application that you configured with the permission to access to the SharePoint taxonomy. You need to fill the application Client ID and Client Secret.

3. Decide whether to restrict this feature to a certain audience. By default, the service is accessible to all contributors.

4. Select the SharePoint term set that you want to use for your taxonomy suggestion.

 

Service as a Bot - Advanced license only

To incorporate your configured services into any desired location as a bot functionality, you need to obtain the bot's URL. Here's how to do it:

  • As an administrator of the AI administration platform, open the platform https://maestro.powell-software.com
  • Go to the Powell advisor settings menu
  • In the available services section, select the service you want and edit it with the 3dots button
  • Click on the copy URL button.

 

Once you have your bot's URL, you can use it in various ways to integrate the bot functionality into your digital environment. Here are some examples:

Direct access: Use the URL as a direct link to the bot, allowing users to interact with it through a web browser.
Intranet web page integration: Embed the bot within a web part on a webpage, providing an interactive element for visitors.
Microsoft Teams app: Add the bot as an app in Microsoft Teams, facilitating easy access and interaction within a team collaboration environment.
Powell Intranet interface: Incorporate the bot as part of the Powell Intranet Interface, enhancing the intranet experience with additional functionality.
