Personas

Overview

This guide is designed to assist administrators in managing Personas, a feature that allows for the creation of distinct writing styles to personalize responses from our bot. By configuring Personas, administrators can ensure that the bot's responses align with specific tones, styles, or branding requirements, enhancing user interaction and satisfaction.

 

Accessing persona management

To start managing Personas on the platform, follow these steps:
Use the left-hand menu, select 'Personas': Find and click on ‘Personas’ within the "Agents" section of the menu.

Creating a new persona

To create a new Persona that defines a specific style of writing for the bot, proceed with the following:

1. Start the creation process: Click on the ‘Create’ button, which is typically at the top of the Personas management page.

2. Configure Persona details:
- Title: Give your Persona a distinctive name that identifies the style (e.g., "Friendly Advisor" or "Technical Expert"). You can add localizations to display the persona in all your employee languages.
- Type: Define the Type of Persona. Today, we can only manage persona based on prompts.

3. Define the writing style:
In the persona characteristics, you can describe your persona. (Note; You can find samples in the FOCUS: Personas section)

4. Save Persona: Finalize your settings by clicking the ‘Save’ button. This action will enable the Persona and apply its style to bot responses as specified.

 

Editing or deleting a persona

To adjust or remove an existing Persona:

1. Access the Personas list: Return to the main Personas page where all created Personas are displayed.
2. Modify or eliminate a Persona:
- Edit: Click the ‘Edit’ button next to the Persona you want to change. Update any aspects of the Persona’s configuration, such as its name, description, tone, or activation criteria, then save the changes.
- Delete: If you need to delete a Persona, select the ‘Delete’ option next to it. Confirm your choice to permanently remove the Persona from the system.
