A new template named "Discussion - Creator notification" will be created for this purpose.

Search/Graph Webpart ( Beta/Teaser )
: New Slider view for News

A new view is available for Search and Graph webpart !

News slider ( Bubble ) is a brand-new view that allows you to effortlessly create a customizable slider to showcase your news content.

Built on a fresh design, this update will make sliders more user-friendly and contemporary.

Thanks to your feedbacks, we updated the visual representation of social actions ( Number of likes, comments, and views  )

( New webpart ) Welcome  : Welcome your employees

We are excited to introduce a new feature in the Webpart Catalog Manager: the ability to select and configure the "Welcome" Webpart. This feature enhances user interaction and provides extensive customization options for webpart settings.

Webpart Settings: Users can now define a custom welcome message, limited to 30 characters, that supports translation and can include the user’s name by using [Name]. Additionally, there is an option to display the user’s profile picture, with a clickable redirect to the user’s profile. A custom URL field for the profile picture can be set, which defaults to redirecting to the user’s profile.

Unread Mails and Outlook Events: The webpart can display the user’s unread mail count and future events count, both of which are clickable and redirect the user to their profile.

Quote of the Day: Users can enable a quote of the day feature, which, when activated, generates a "Quotes" list in the SharePoint site collection.

Background Display Options: The welcome webpart’s background can be customized with the current theme color, a custom color, or a custom image. Users can also select the text color as either "dark" or "light."

Search webpart (Teaser/Beta) : New language filtering option and edit icons

Thanks to your feedbacks, we made a few improvements inside the Search webpart settings :

  • A new setting, "Filter content by current page language" has been introduced.
When enabled (default is No), this option dynamically filters the content to display only items that match the current page language. This ensures that users see content relevant to their preferred language, improving the overall user experience and content relevance.

  • In addition, new editing icons are now available in editing forms to clarify editing options and their equivalent in the webaprt display.

Contribution Campaigns (Teaser/Beta) : Create and manage your own contribution campaign

We're excited to unveil an improved campaign creation process within the Campaigns feature. By clicking "Create campaign" on the Campaign Home Page, you'll now access a user-friendly panel to guide you through setting up your campaign.

Easily enter a title and description for your campaign, select an icon and background color, and set the campaign's start and end dates with intuitive date pickers. You can define your campaign audience by choosing from three options: Groups (select specific AD groups or SharePoint users), Public (open to all site contributors), or Private (visible only to you).

Stay organized with automatic campaign alerts, which send emails to authors and contributors at key points: before the campaign starts, before it ends, and 24 hours before publication. These notifications ensure everyone involved is kept informed.

Comprehensive documentation and a communication article are forthcoming

🧙 For administrators

Page Layout : Manage background images

In the last release, In the page layout section inside Manager, we've enhanced the "background color" options. We’ve added 12 new background colors and introduced 2 additional settings, opacity, and overlay color.

We keep improving background features to now include custom images management
