November 2024 Powell Governance release note

We are excited to announce the latest updates and enhancements in Powell Governance for November 2024. This release is focused on improving governance flexibility, streamlining communication, and enhancing control over workspace configurations. Our new features aim to optimize sensitivity labels reporting, provide more engaging communication tools, and offer greater control over the lifecycle of teams and workspaces.

The release is planned for Tuesday, October 29th, 2024.

Sensitivity labels reporting

We’re introducing sensitivity label reporting, enabling administrators to filter workspaces by their sensitivity labels through reports. This update offers greater visibility and control, allowing admins to efficiently manage and monitor workspaces in line with their organization's governance policies.

New campaign actions

Extend expiration date

Campaigns now include an option to request workspace owners to extend the expiration date on a workspace, whether an expiration date has already been defined or is missing but present in the team template. This action ensures that workspace owners can easily update or set expiration dates, providing better control over the lifecycle of their teams. Owners can be asked to extend the expiration date during campaigns, following the same process to other campaign actions.

Missing tag values

Campaigns now also include an option to request workspace owners to fill in the missing tag values for their workspaces. This action ensures that all workspaces are properly configured and managed according to the organization's governance policies. Owners can be asked to update the tag values during campaigns, following the same process as other campaign actions.

Improved email visualization in campaigns

To enhance communication between administrators and workspace owners, we’ve introduced better email visualization in campaigns. Emails sent within campaigns are now clearer, better formatted, and provide a more engaging reading experience for recipients.

This update is aimed at improving the effectiveness of communication, ensuring that messages are well understood and impactful.

Channel rework in templates

We’ve reworked the way channels are managed within templates, allowing administrators to configure both public and private channels more effectively. This update includes new options to edit channel details, manage sensitivity labels, and oversee tabs within each channel, providing greater flexibility and control over team configurations.
