New features available for everyone

1. Search/Graph Display view : Aggregate content List (Bubble)

In our last release, we introduced a new view for Search and Graph called "Aggregate Content Tiles (Bubble)."

This view offers a modern design, perfect for aggregating various content types, with full customization options to seamlessly fit your intranet.

Building on this concept, we’ve now added a new view: "Aggregate Content List (Bubble)."

This view also aggregates content, but in a more compact, list-style layout—ideal for displaying a large number of results in a condensed format, such as in a Search Center.

This view also aggregate contents, but in a more compact and list view, ideal for displaying a lot of different results in a more compact way, like a Search Center for exemple :

2. Search / Graph : Replace Powell Media Player with Microsoft Stream

We've replaced Powell Player with Microsoft Stream to take advantage of Stream's extensive features. This change means that all media content added to your intranet will now open using Microsoft Stream, enhancing the media experience with features like automatic transcription, better video quality, and improved sharing options.

Microsoft Stream also offers advanced playback controls, video analytics, and integration with Microsoft 365, making it easier to manage and interact with media files across your platform.

3. New webpart edit form : Graph webpart

As with recent releases, we’ve improved front-end editing capabilities for a new web part: Graph.

This update allows users to easily manage the Graph web part to display list results in customized tables or specific content layouts.

4. Contribution : Improve image optimizations

Image optimization is crucial for improving site performance.
We received feedback about challenges with our previous optimization tools, so we revamped them to be more user-friendly and significantly more effective in enhancing optimization.

From now on, image will be automatically resided to optimized its size.

It will also be possible to compare optimizations before and after to facilitate management and clarify the impact of optimization on image display.

5. Site Administration : Be able to manage subgroups in SharePoint term selection

Previously, selecting sub-terms within SharePoint term sets for notifications was not supported. Now, this functionality is available.

When adding a group, you can choose a specific sub-term from the term set.

As users select their notification groups, relevant sub-terms will appear, displaying both the subgroup and its associated term set for clearer context.

6. Powell Buddy : Include Buddy in Disclaimer and News Sharing

Previously, Powell Buddy was available in the contribution section to assist with AI-generated content

Now, it has been expanded to support additional areas like Disclaimer and News Sharing, allowing users to leverage AI for more efficient management and customization in these sections as well.

7. Power Bi : Be able to consent permissions

When editing the Power BI web part, users can now see the permissions required to access the content and have the option to grant their consent directly.

This update makes it easier for users to understand and manage the permissions needed for viewing Power BI content.

Features currently "In Preview" only

1. Manager : Review the deployment of Microsoft banners

Microsoft has introduced an update affecting Banner behavior on their pages. From now on, the Header feature in the page manager will be deprecated, meaning manual changes may be required to optimize Banner management on your pages.

Key Changes:

  • New Pages: The Header block will no longer be displayed on newly created pages.

  • Existing Pages with a Header: If a Header is present on an existing page, it may cause issues during synchronization.

  • Existing Pages without a Header: No Header will be displayed, and you will not be able to add one.

What to Do for Pages with an Existing Header:

  1. Remove the Header.
  2. Add a Powell Banner.
