The admin policy interface has been streamlined, with configurations divided into distinct steps for:

  • Teams
  • Sites
  • Users

Sub-administrators can now see report cards filtered by the specific teams, sites, and users linked to their policies. Counts are based on the associated elements, rather than the entire tenant, providing more relevant data for their scope of governance.

Bulk actions

Delete tags of from workspaces

Administrators can now perform bulk tag deletions for multiple teams or sites in a single corrective action. This feature simplifies workspace management and enhances operational efficiency.

SharePoint sites

New SharePoint sites type

SharePoint sites linked to private channels in Teams are now displayed with the type "Group team site (private channel)". This update provides clear visibility into the governance of private channels and their associated sites.

Detailed group membership counts

For SharePoint sites managed by security or Microsoft 365 groups, detailed user counts are now included in reports. This enhancement offers administrators a precise overview of group memberships, ensuring efficient management of access and permissions.
