Languages: Harmonized webpart configuration

Webpart configuation will now remain consistent across all language versions of a page. As an admin, you’ll be able to configure webparts globally, ensuring the same setup is applied across all languages. This option will be available directly in Powell Manager.

Webpart edit form 

We continue to introduce enhance editing forms for webparts with : Gamification badge, Clocks and Youtube. The settings are now divided into two key sections and a documentation section.

Gamification badge

• • How to display: Configure how badges are displayed and define the maximum number of badges shown.
  • Manage Gamification badge: Choose how badges are displayed and define the maximum number of badges shown.

Clocks 

• • How to display: Clocks are shown as a list, with a preview of selected timepieces. You can configure the layout per device type (mobile, tablet, desktop), and the clock format.
  • Manage Clock: To add a clock, enter the name and select a time zone. You have also the option to upload a custom logo or image.

Youtube

• • How to display: Choose how many videos to display and customize their arrangement depending on the user's device. You can also enable or disable the "See More" button and customize its label.
  • Manage Youtube: Configure your Youtube integration by entering a Channel ID and a Google Application Key.

Email Sender : Customize sender name

Emails sent via SendGrid now display a custom sender name instead of just the email address. A new text field in Powell Manager allows you to personalize this name.

Content Type : New field AuthorByLine

On Modern page templates with a banner, the AuthorByline field is now fully supported. This means you can modify the displayed author directly, offering more flexibility when publishing content. The byline will be automatically filled with the value entered in the AuthorByLine field and will be displayed by the native banner component.

Newsletter : Live changes while editing

Your edits are now instantly visible within the newsletter layout. You can see your changes in real time while updating sections, titles, and footers. 

Newsletter : Add button section

We’ve added the ability to include buttons in your newsletters! You can customize the design by changing the background color, font color, and size. 

New webpart : Well-Being : Collecting and measuring user well-being✨

A brand-new webpart is here to help track and improve user well-being in the workplace.

Users can share their feedback based on the personalized message set, through various voting methods, including:

• Smileys 😊 (e.g., Terrible → Happy)
• Stars ⭐ (1 to 5-star ratings)
• Numbers 🔢 (1 to 5 scale)
• Custom Icons 🎨 (upload your own SVG or PNG icons)

Each option allows customized labels and response messages for a fully tailored experience.

Result Audience: Define who can view feedback results either publicly or restricted to selected SharePoint  or AD groups.

This new configuration ensures flexible, user-friendly well-being tracking, helping companies improve workplace engagement and support. 

Escalation Options (Optional): If enabled, users can escalate concerns after voting. The feedback is sent to designated recipients (HR, managers, or a Microsoft Teams profile) via email or direct message.

Votes are not anonymous each response is linked to the user.

MAUI Migration Completed

The migration to MAUI is now complete! The Powell app has been fully updated and is available on the store with the latest improvements and optimizations.

Whitelist to open URLs in browser

On Android, some links don’t work properly in the webview. To address this, we’ve implemented a whitelist system that allows specific links to open directly in the app’s native browser instead of the webview.

Get taxonomy terms subscription from mobile app

The subscription settings from the intranet are now applied to the mobile application, ensuring you receive relevant notifications based on your selected taxonomy terms.
