🚨Global Information🚨

Performance – Best practices documentation

A new guide is now available:

“Powell Intranet performances : Best practices guide”

It includes a list of recommendations for customers to apply on their side to help maintain fast and stable sites.

⭐Foundation Pack⭐

Site Logo - Rework of site logo behavior

To align with SharePoint’s native behavior, site logos have been removed from site suggestions only (documents and people are not impacted). Instead, site initials are now displayed in their place for a consistent and clean experience.

This update avoids parsing URLs unnecessarily and improves visual consistency across all search suggestions.

Breadcrumb : Manage breadcrumb on page variation

The breadcrumb component now fully supports translated pages, meaning your navigation path will remain accurate and localized regardless of language.

Breadcrumb uses the site’s navigation nodes only, it does not reflect the user’s click path.

Feature Dashboard : Manage all features in front!

🎨 Visual Revamp

We’ve redesigned the dashboard interface for better clarity. The previous version used a wide range of colors, which could be visually overwhelming.

These settings are managed at the Home Portal level: any site linked to the Home Portal URL will automatically inherit them.

🔎Search bar

A search bar is now available to help you quickly locate a specific feature without scrolling through the entire list.feature dashboard (6).gif

🎯 Filter by license (SKU)

You can now filter features by license (SKU). Features that are not included in your current plan will still be displayed, but shown as locked. This helps you get a clear overview of what’s available and what’s part of your current subscription.

✅Harmonized enable/disable actions

We’ve harmonized how feature activation works. All actions, whether to enable, disable, or manage a feature are now located at the bottom of each card, feature dashboard (8).gif

⭐Mark as favorite

You can now mark a feature as a favorite to create a shortcut in the settings menu. This makes it quicker to access the features you use most.
The favorites are related to each user.

🤖 AI Enhancements

AI : Translate labels automatically

We’re introducing the first version of automatic translation for multilingual fields. When filling in labels, descriptions, or any internationalized text, Powell Intranet can now suggest instant translations across supported languages. This is a first step, and we’re actively looking for your feedback to improve it.

GUIDED TOUR : Draggable step panel

The Guided Tour panel is now draggable, so you can move it around freely while navigating through your onboarding steps.Design sans titre (4).gif

🚀 Advanced Pack 🚀

ADVANCED ANALYTICS is out ! (Preview mode)

Advanced Analytics feature is now officially available for ADVANCED customers. This tool provides a comprehensive view of your intranet performance by measuring key performance indicators (KPIs) in four main areas: Usage & Traffic, Contents, Engagement, and Search & Navigation.

The feature is designed to help owners and contributors track adoption rates, optimize content strategies, and enhance the user experience.

Feel free to reach out to your Powell representative if you want to know more about it.

📱Mobile Application📱

MAUI Migration : Deploy as MAUI by default

The Powell mobile app is now deployed using the .NET MAUI pipeline by default.
This update improves performance, enhances cross-platform stability, and replaces the previous Xamarin pipeline in Powell Manager.
If you have the premium application, you will need to re-package & redeploy the application.

The latest version is already available in public app stores.
