We’re excited to share the latest updates in Powell Governance, this release focuses on improving reporting flexibility and workspace view customization, while also bringing several smaller enhancements to the platform.

Download report CSV as Sub-Administrator

Sub-administrators can download CSV exports of the reports they have access to through their Admin Access Policies. This improvement allows for easier data analysis and reporting, enhancing visibility and oversight within the permissions defined by their access policies.

Active Directory Groups as approvers

Powell Governance administrators can choose Active Directory (AD) groups as approvers when configuring templates. This new option simplifies the approval process by allowing entire groups to be selected instead of adding individual users, streamlining workspace governance.

Notifications sent for approval requests now consider group membership at the time of the creation request. If a user is in multiple groups or added both manually and via a group, they will only receive one notification to avoid redundancy.

Tag ID in automation

To improve automation tracking and reporting, Powell Governance now includes the Tag ID and its associated value in automation configurations. This enhancement is available for:

• Template Applied (Teams)

• Template Applied (Sites)

• Approval Requests (Teams or Sites)

The existing tag value properties remain unchanged to ensure compatibility with current configurations, but the addition of the Tag ID allows for more granular visibility and control in your automated processes.

Small Improvements & Enhancements

• New filters in reports and custom views: Filter by external sharing, governance status, member/owner count, and improved date formatting.

• Multilingual display names: Add translations for custom views; default views are now translated into EN, FR, and DE.
