Term store tag (SharePoint taxonomy)
Powell Governance administrators can synchronize the "term store" tags with the SharePoint term store to utilize existing Microsoft tags. It is then possible to select a term set in the tag configuration and reuse it in any workspace. It is important to note that editing the content of the term store is not supported by Powell Governance.
Hierarchical tag
The new hierarchical tag type allows users to create tags with hierarchical structures in a tree view format. This can be useful for managing tags in complex or matrix organizations.
OneDrive directory & reporting
OneDrive directory & reporting provides administrators with a comprehensive list of users' OneDrive accounts within the workspace overview. This includes essential information such as storage usage, external sharing settings, storage limits, and sensitivity labels. Additionally, numerous options for custom reporting are available to meet specific organizational needs. No corrective actions are available in this release.
New document properties
To enhance document insights, new document properties have been introduced. It enables more detailed reporting on documents, which is crucial for cost management and AI deployment. The new properties include:
- Active shared link status
- Document type (extension)
- Number of shared links
- Last modification date
Anonymized URL with document name
Tag improvements
Recognizing the importance of tags, several tag improvements include:
- Tag selection on template application in bulk action: Users can select tags when adding a template to a team or site from the workspace directory or a reports.
- Multiple tag application in bulk action: Multiple tags can be added to a single team or site when adding tags in bulk actions.
- Choice tag value translations: Translations for choice tag values are supported.
Small improvements
A few small improvements include:
- Multilingual content translation: Automatic translation for multilingual content streamlines the configuration of company policies and campaigns (powered by AI).
- Date column filtering: Users can filter on date columns, a feature that has been highly requested for reports and user dashboard views.
