Introduction
Stream is a Microsoft Web part. You can find this web part on different pages on the Intranet.
With the stream web part, you can βmake corporate communication visual by promoting trending videos or specific channels in your portal and easily find what you need with the video search.
Share your latest market campaign, e-learning session, or highlight an event by video!β
For example, in the Powell Intranet HR section, on the onboarding page, the stream web part is used to display training videos for new employees to help them with the onboarding process. You can also find this web part on the Sales department page.
You can watch videos directly from the page. You can click the Stream icon to be redirected to Microsoft Stream page.
Settings
In the stream web part settings, you can choose the display of the web part.
You can:
- Define the source: you can put all of the stream, a single video, or a channel
- Sort the web part by trending, publishing date, views, and likes
- Enter a search term to filter video results
For example, if you choose a βchannelβ or a βsingle videoβ option under the source, you should add a channel address or a video address by putting the url.
Then you can sort your source by available options: trending, publishing date, views, and likes.
