On the Powell 365 intranet homepage, you have access to all corporate communication web-parts presenting company news in several different ways. You constantly have fresh information here, increasing and simplifying internal communication.
Everything on this page is using the WYSIWYG Powell Manager tool and required zero codings.
Under Home, you will find two home pages
The clients will be able to choose which one of these pages they want to have as the main home page.
User & Communication Focus
This page offers a mix of communication content with news and events. The components displayed on the page are specifically oriented towards the user, offering quick links to websites that the users might need during their work days.
The first thing you see is the modern slider web part displaying company news. It displays news that is destined for all company employees. The three latest news articles published on the intranet, have a constant presence here. You can click on read more to have full access to these articles which are completely interactive in the sense that you can like, and comment on each via Yammer, share it via Outlook emailing, and even see how many people viewed it.
The section on the right displays Quick links redirecting users to different sites by opening a link in a separate tab. The "Quick links" web part is a content search web-part with a display for applications.
As you scroll down, the web part "What's happening in my department" is also a content-search web part, that displays news that is coming from department pages that exist under the tab "Departments".

Powell Software offers a possibility to share news in your Microsoft Teams environment via the "Share" button. As you click on the button, you will see a sharing form.
You can choose to share news to a channel: In that case, you will choose a team from the drop-down list and then choose a channel in which you want to share the post.
In the text box below, you can type any information you want to add to your post.
The events web-part "Let"s meet" is a content-search web-part that displays all the events of the portal. This is a search web part with a different display for events.
Our HR corner is a title web part. The web-part that you see below is a tab web-part that helps users to stay up to date with what is happening in the Portal via a single widget. The biggest advantage of this web part is its ability to organize and present a large amount of content effectively in one place.
4 type of content is organized to display important information.
- Welcome-to displays content from the Welcome-to Hub with all new employees.
- Job-offers displays content from the Job offers page.
- Social info displays news about collaborators.
- Policies display documents that were tagged as "policies".
Next to the HR corner, you can see the poll web part, that allows administrators to ask the opinions of company employees.
In the last section of the page, you can find the Powell TV web part which displays videos from Microsoft Stream. You can watch a video directly within the portal, by clicking on it. Similar to news articles, you will be allowed to watch, like, comment, and share a video. You need to click “see more” if you wish to access all videos or your personal selection.
