Introduction

The Gamification badges web part is a Powell 365 web part that can be found on the Share on the social media page.

The gamification part will bring fun to the employee advocacy topic and involves employees in the company life.

The Gamification badges web part will give instantaneous feedback on the social interactions the user has made. The user will be able to see the points and the badges earned directly from this web part.

Prerequisites 

For this web part to work, you'll have to have the "Gamification - Badges" list on your Sharepoint site. To do so, you can follow the steps under the section "Create the 'Gamification - Badge" list" on the "How to deploy Gamification ?" page.

Settings

Configure the settings:

After selecting the Gamification badges web part, the following edit form will appear.  You will see how to configure each section of it below.

Its configuration is quite simple as it's only displaying the user badges, so it only requires aesthetic configuration.

"Template" configuration

  • The template section is where you're going to select the display of your badges in your web part. 

 

"Select the action(s) to display" configuration

  • You can select which actions you want to display on your web part, which achievements you want to be shown in this web part. The rewards/points earned for each action you selected will be displayed on this web part.

"Maximum result number" configuration

  • To set the number of elements you want to be displayed, you'll have to fill in the “Maximum result number” section.
