Introduction
In the "HR Hub" section, the "Onboarding" page helps prepare company newcomers with all the necessary materials and information to start their adventure in the best conditions.
What will you find on the page?
Here you can see an example of an "Onboarding" page you can build for your company through the "Together" portal. The web parts that you can see on the page will already be pre-configured, and company contributors will need to build content.
"Welcome to the team" message
Under the "Welcome To the team !" section, HR can welcome new employees to the company with a short, welcoming message. This web part was designed to introduce a company section or a page. In this case, it will be used to welcome a new employee.
Click here to find out how to create a welcoming message.
Contacts
On the right, the "Contacts" web part displays people to contact in case of a need. The contacts displayed on the page will be a newcomer's onboarding team members, who will help a new employee during his onboarding process.
Contacts can be added directly from the page.
Quick Access
Useful Links - Under "quick access" links, newcomers will find necessary tools and applications that help to manage day-to-day employee processes: (e.g., managing the timesheet or requesting a leave).
By providing these quick links/applications, a company can improve the professional skills of its employees and facilitate their overall experience in the organization.
Check the article "How to: create quick access ?" if you want to know how to create these quick links.
Onboarding Kit
My Onboarding Kit displays content useful for a newcomer's onboarding process. Thanks to this section, new employees can access all the important information about employee policies, first 1:1 meetings with a manager, and international travels. Moreover, a newcomer can find internal rules and procedures, the onboarding guide, and all other corporate legal and procedural documents important for the onboarding process.
Marketing Kit, Finance Kit, Sales Kit
The Marketing Kit, Finance Kit, and Sales Kit sections will display necessary documents and training materials according to the department. These sections use the Hero web part, which lets administrators/content managers organize and display content easily and effectively.
Contributors can bring focus and visual interest to the page with the Hero web part. You can display up to five items and use compelling images, text, and links to draw attention to each.
Please click here for more detailed information about the "Hero" web part.
Training Videos
It is always easier to understand how things work with visual images. That is why, the last section of the page offers video training to company employees. To display training videos, you can use the stream web part.
With the stream web part, you can make corporate communication visual by promoting trending videos or specific channels in your portal and easily find what you need with the video search. Employees can watch videos directly from the page.
