Bot notifications

Introduction

Powell Governance has a dedicated bot allowing to send messages to your end-user in specific use cases. When installating Powell Governance, you will recieve this welcome message that is inherent to any bot in Microsoft Teams.

Cards are sent by default in the connected user language Microsoft Teams setting if Powell Governance support that language (French, English, German, Japanese, Dutch, Korean or Russian).

The default language configuration possibility on this page allows you to define a default language for users that are not using one of those idioms on their Microsoft Teams environment.

All cards that have been sent before the switch-off of any bot use case are still available for your end-users.

Approval workflow notification

Approvers designated in templates can recieve messages whenever they have a new request to accept or decline. Thanks to that, they can be notified without even opening Powell Governance and and streamline the creation of workspaces.
All the approvers receive a card asking them to approve or decline the request. They can also open the detail of the request if they want to have more information about the it.

Once the approbation has been done (with the bot, in the Powell Governance interface, or even API), then the requester will receive the information about the status of his request. Here for example, a refused team creation request:
