The "Ready-to-Use Intranet - Company" template includes everything needed to communicate the general information related to the company.
- A navigation section to quickly access company content
- About us section to share general information about the company
- A commitments section to share company commitments
- An Office locator to share the company offices & contacts
- A glossary for common company words
- A social sharing feature to allow employees to share company content on their social networks
All the settings for the site configuration are accessible from one place by clicking the site configuration button at the top right of the Department homepage. This button is only visible for site owners (SharePoint right)
From the site configuration page, you will have access to:
- the top navigation of the department
- Manage glossary terms
- the suggested links & documents from employees in Social Sharing
It also contains relevant information about the site usage (site analytics section) and a content change audit section to check the recent content changes (who created or edited the content).
- About us, commitments and office locators are SharePoint pages that you can manage like other SharePoint Pages(external link).
