Manage content
Company news slider
the company news slider display only company news. To manage the company news, you can click on the "see more" button: How to manage the news
Note: the main difference with the news management in Ready-to-Use Intranet - Department or Ready-to-Use Intranet - HR hub templates is that, in the news management page you will also see all the news published in the intranet and not only the company news.
Quick access
The quick access section allows you to share important links to sub-sections of the intranet or 3rd party applications. You can click the manage button to manage the available quick access with a member or owner role. It's the same contribution experience available in other medium business templates: How to manage quick access
Department news
it is the latest news published in the departments (Ready-to-Use Intranet - department template). You have a "see more" button to access the news search and to discover older news and a "preferences" button where an employee can filter the departments with the most interest for him.
Kudos
Give recognition to your coworkers for their work.
The "Kudos" section lets you praise company employees for their achievements. You can give Kudos to your colleagues from the Powell Intranet portal to the Wall of Kudos.
This will create more engagement for employees and make them feel valued at work.
So how does it work?
HR managers define kudos that can be sent by/to users in the Gamification center.
For example, you want to give Kudos to Marc for teamwork. To give Kudos, click the icon displayed on the web part.
You will be able to select a person you want to give kudos to. When a user sends a Kudo to someone, he can include a personal message that will be attached to the Kudo received.
The selected person will receive a Kudo in a Teams conversation with the personal message. He will also be able to see all the kudos he received on his Gamification profile page.
*You can only give the Kudo once a day.
Kudos are included by default on our standalone Gamification center template. See the complete documentation on kudos on our helpdesk to learn how to deploy and use it here.
All given kudos will appear on the Kudo's wall. Click the button "Kudo's wall" to access it.
The page will display all Kudos given and received by employees.
HR corner
The HR corner section aggregate the Human resources information is coming from the HR Hub.
- It is composed of tabs resuming the HR hub activities
- The focus coming from the HR hub
- A quick poll web part gathering feedback from your employees
Social networks
The social networks section displays the company's videos coming from the Microsoft Stream web part.
Note: For Youtube, you can also use the more powerful dedicated Powell Youtube web part, but it will require advanced configuration.
