This August release concerns two major subjects that have been requested for a certain time, the possibility to use tag and tag values in reports and a dedicated scenario to manage guest reviews.

The release is planned for tuesday 30th of July 2024.

Tags reporting

Tag reporting allows the creation of reports on Teams and SharePoint sites based on the tags associated with these workspaces. Report builder allows to filter workspaces on tags and tag values

It will make it easier to identify spaces without tag values or generate reports on all teams located in specific regions, such as the United States. By using tag reporting, administrators can maintain organized and well-categorized workspaces, enhancing overall governance and management efficiency.

Guest review

A new scenario is available within Powell Governance campaigns that enables administrators to request team owners to review all external users in their teams.

This new feature also includes two new properties in the custom reports:

• The date of the last guest review
• The interval since that last guest review

By ensuring regular reviews of external users, organizations can maintain strong governance, enhance security, and raise end-user awareness about the importance of managing external access.

Endusers have a dedicated guided journey to review the guests of their workspaces and sensibilize them about the guest access.

• 2 new prebuilt reports: 
  • Teams with unreviewed guest users: Based on the teams that have not been reviewed in the last 180 days and that have at least one guest.
  • Teams with missing tag values: Based on the teams that have mandatory tag values that are empty.
• Workspace corrective actions visible on all administration pages: All corrective actions for administrators are now visible across all back-office pages, including user details, reports, and workspaces page.
  
  
  
• Notification count for end-users: Notification counts are now detailed on the notification page, aligning with the notification bell count visible on the user dashboard.
