A team card

A team card gives users an overall short overview of what is happening within a team. Each team card includes a team title, a team description, the number of users of the team (owners + members) and a three-dots icon.

Some cards can be displayed with an exclamation mark icon next to the team card or in the team table column "governance status". It means that these teams are not respecting one of the governance rules of their template. The owner can check and compare the team configuration and the template one in the team edition.

Keep in mind that you can modify the tags only if you are an owner of the team
and if the team has an associated template.

We categorize teams with tags during the team creation process

Find more about tags on the page Manage Tags and refiners.

*Keep in mind that the team edition tab is also available from all teams and all reports page in the admin center and from a new tab that will be automatically created in the general channel in the team for newly created teams based on a Powell Teams template.

Open detail lets you access the team information: the list of all team channels, the last documents shared within the team, and quick access to team shortcuts such as SharePoint, OneNote, files, and planner.

The documents displayed in the detail are the recently modified documents with:

  1. The title of the document with a direct link to open it.

The search box and the refiners

The Dashboard allows you to quickly filter and see through all your teams. Through the search box, you can directly look for different teams. To search, type the name of your team in the text box. The refiners on the left side of the page will allow you to filter through your teams. Since tags are applied to teams during creation or import (soon), the refiner will make it easier for you to find the desired team.

You can configure the refiners to reflect your company's requirements through different business processes, departments, locations, or customers.

Refiners are now exclusive. It means that only the tag values associated with the connected user's teams will be visible. Tag values displayed are corresponding to the teams of the connected user.

When a certain tag has a lot of values,  a search bar and a see more button will appear within the refiner itself. It will permit searching within the refiner as well.

Refiners are created and configured by Powell Teams Administrators. If this area of your dashboard is empty, it means Powell Teams administrators haven't created any filters yet. To configure the refiners, you need to be a Powell Teams Administrator. Then you can access the admin settings through the Manage tags page in the administration section.

When Powell Teams administrators have not set any refiners, a message will be displayed to invite them to do it.
